Some lessons cant be taught, they simply have to be learned.  Lately things in my life have been quiet chaotic, so many things have happened some stressful some not so stressful. I've gotten to the point where if you are not my children, husband or people in arms length from me . i don't communicate with you. I know its sad, but I've gotten so wrapped up in  getting ahead financially, its the only thing on my mind. i don't want to struggle anymore, and i wont! So lately  it has really been straining on my friendships, my family-ships and  just my life in general.  Although sometimes going through specific things, really exposes the people that really care about you and are always their for you. and sometimes just shows you who really could care less about you and more about themselves. That i am...    The past few weeks have been very chaotic, session after session.. i love it,but i am so tired everyday, full time stay at home mom/Photographer.. Shesh, its crazy life! Thursdays are typically my wind down days, yes that's right #TGIT one night a week i get to take a breathe. especially before the weekend, my weekends are the busiest. So catching up on any unfinished edited sessions, catching up on my fave shoes..I love Thursdays!  I am currently getting ready for my very first Labor and Delivery session, eek so very excited about it. Mother is Due Friday October 24th, with her first baby i might add. SO technically its up in the air. if your'e a mother you know things are never the way we plan them. So the possibilities are endless, when it comes to a time frame. But i am so crossing my fingers, baby is on time. His own time! SO tomorrow is my first day being an "ON CALL" Photographer hehe Fun stuff!            ...

It been some time since I've written. Life has been a whirlwind, so much has happened work has been crazy for both my husband and i.. (slightly) ha. this week we will be celebrating Lucas's 4th birthday, so I've been busy getting ready for his party. and Levis 1st birthday is next week, so making decor for his party as well. Jose has been working a lot of hours,sometimes our schedules kind of cross each other's. when he gets home i leave for sessions. i know you all have seen that i've been pursuing photography more "vigorously" lately, i've been out and about quite a bit over these past few weeks. and its really amazing!! i've been able to get to know people on a more personal level and i really love it.  to have the opportunity to sit and talk to a lot of my childhood friends, and people that i've just come to know thru my photos. their is so much to know and learn from just one simple conversation. i love people! i love to get to know people, the real people, the real stories, not the social media stuff. i feel like getting to know people on a personal level gives me the inspiration to photograph them in a way no one else can. (dont  get me wrong i dont know every detail about a person) But sometimes its really good to get a little bit beneath the surface. There's so much to know about just ONE single person. the love, passion,joy,strength,heartache the brokenness. the struggle, the life they live. ...

I'm Cecily 26 year old Wife and mother of 3 boys, lately i've been contemplating what i really want to do with my life. I really enjoy being able to stay home and raise our boys, watching them learn and grow is amazing. I also have been able to learn and grow as a mother, sometimes my days are a complete mess. raising 3 boys has become a full time job for me, i feel like i am at a place physically where i can intermingle my everyday life and my passions. So i have! i make,create,refix,restore all kinds of things, i even let Our boys join in on any project that i may be doing. aside from that i've been able to purchase a newer.better camera. I've started to put together my portfolio SO ive had alot of photo shoots these last few weeks annnnd a lot more scheduled the rest of april and into may... SO stoked to get it all put together!  photography has been a real part of my life since i was a teenager, i used to use a jinky fujifilm when i was younger. and i actually managed to get some amazing photos back then.. i love taking photos, im not a professional but i like to capture the raw, real stuff. i'm not much for posed photos but there has to be some type of organization. anyways heres what ive shot last few weeks!
