You Make Every Thing Glorious..

Well my life has been the craziest ride for the past two days, i went into labor October 9th around 6 a.m..My water broke and i didn't realize it till 2 hours later..i cam into the hospital and immediately was hooked up onto monitors and all that jazz..Had i known i was going to be in Labor for 24 hours i probably would of passed out a head of time.. i went through all of the morning with harsh pains i came in only dilated about 2 1/2 and lasted till hmm about 2:30 until i finally dilated 4, when they could gave me the epidural..whhheeeww thank you Jesus for an epidural, so i thought..Like by 9 p.m i was dilated a 9 but the doctor said will give you another hour just to make sure you get to 10 alright..So i did, i started pushing at 10:15 p.m and oh i didnt stop pushing for 3 1/2 hours, yea it was long and stressful i even remember accepting the fact that i couldnt get him out and i wanted a c-section but the doctor convinced me other wise..so i carried on abotu halfway through the epidural was begining to wear out, my body ran on it for so long it was getting used to the medicine..so every contraction, every push i felt it...whats the point of an epidural again ? to not be able to feel your legs??!!? ANYWAY it was 2 am and i was so tired the doctor told me "cecily, you can do it your a minute away from delivering this baby , you can do it..SO i took that and i went with it, 2:13 a.m Lucas Julian Gonzalez was out and being cleaned..

Yea wow and thats just the short version of what i went through their is so much more...But needless to say he is here and good and i love every bit of him!!

When things are happening that are completely out or you're control... This is Leeland, he is 6 months, he is a happy baby he loves to be around his brothers is he loves to be with Dad he loves to jump in his jumperoo he enjoys car rides Leeland is hitting all those baby milestones, he has grown so well. hes actually in the 95th % for his age. So all this to say He is a healthy growing normal baby, as far as we could see. Current Situation: Leeland was born with quite a few birthmarks,at birth he had at least 6 light colored birthmarks in various places on his body. at the time we didn't really think to much of it,it didn't really appear to harm him. hes 2 months now and has over a dozen small lightly colored birthmarks covering his body.and freckling under his arms and other areas on his body. at his 2 month check up his pediatrician suggested we get him into a dermatologist but ot...

i know you all have seen that i've been pursuing photography more "vigorously" lately, i've been out and about quite a bit over these past few weeks. and its really amazing!! i've been able to get to know people on a more personal level and i really love it. to have the opportunity to sit and talk to a lot of my childhood friends, and people that i've just come to know thru my photos. their is so much to know and learn from just one simple conversation. i love people! i love to get to know people, the real people, the real stories, not the social media stuff. i feel like getting to know people on a personal level gives me the inspiration to photograph them in a way no one else can. (dont get me wrong i dont know every detail about a person) But sometimes its really good to get a little bit beneath the surface. There's so much to know about just ONE single person. the love, passion,joy,strength,heartache the brokenness. the struggle, the life they live. ...

What do you burn for??

Thats such a good question "What did you poor your life out for" Sit back and ask yourself that question, meditate on those word "what do you burn for" i really believe that god will show you .. It wont be long before you are sitting before God and those words will be asked from you.. What if you were asked to deny Jesus, would you? WOULD YOU? WHATS YOUR STORY!
